Modco Closures, Quick and Simple Accessibility
The Modco Figure 500 Closure is available from 2″ to 54″ for use on horizontal, vertical or angle installations on pipeline or pressure vessel applications. Modco offer a safe and reliable threaded quick opening closure.
All closure designs are based on ASME and can be code stamped if required. Modco Figure 500 Closures feature rugged Acme threads for long-life and operator safety. Because of thread pressure, the cap is almost impossible to rotate if any pressure is in the vessel. If vessel pressure reduces to allow the cap to be turned, Modco’s thread design provides sufficient warning of residual pressure while the cap is still safely on the hub.
