The Heath Plunger bar is a useful tool in water or gas leak survey and also used for earthing to ground. The plunger bar handle is insulated to 10,000 volts to protect the operator.
- DP4 Flame Ionisation
The Detecto-Pak 4 is a portable Flame Ionization gas leak detector for walking and mobile leak surveys. Many of the design features in the DP4 are based on “intelligent” electronics that save time and money. It reads from 0-10, 0-50, 0-100, 0-1,000, and 0-10,000 parts per million (PPM) and has a fast response time due to its strong internal sample pump. - OMD
The Optical Methane Detector is designed to increase measurement speed and accuracy when performing mobile inspections of buried natural gas distribution, transmission, and gathering pipelines. Containing no moving parts, the OMD can be front mounted on a vehicle and calibrated by the driver or technician from inside the vehicle. OMD uses infrared technology, eliminating potential hazards such as explosive calibration gases. The OMD can detect leak indications in concentrations of less than 1 part per million (ppm) at 10,000 measurements per second. Data can be sent to a data logger or translated to a ground positioning satellite (GPS) system. - DP-IR
The Detecto Pak-Infrared (DP-IR™) is a highly advanced technology capable of detecting methane without false alarming on other gases. The DP-IR functions by using an infrared optical gas detection system. This instrument is intended to replace the current surveying equipment using the traditional Flame Ionization with next generation technology utilizing a simple light beam, eliminating the need for expensive gas cylinders and refill systems. It is designed to be selective to detecting methane only, and will not false alarm on other hydrocarbon gases. The DP-IR operates under a variety of environmental conditions including cold or hot weather. Its rugged design will stand up to normal field use and operating conditions. - Eye-C-Gas

The Remote Methane Leak Detector can quickly and efficiently detect leaks up to one hundred feet away. Using laser technology, remote detection allows the user to safely survey areas that may be difficult to reach, such as busy roadways, yards with large dogs, locked gates, pipe suspended under a bridge and other hard to access places. In the independent validation tests, the RMLD has proven to be a highly effective leak survey instrument, compared to flame ionization and similar equipment, but with the added advantage of remote detection. By design the RMLD is capable of achieving significant productivity gains and drastically reduce operations and maintenance costs. - Bar Hole Purger

Heath Plunger Bars are specially designed to outperform all others. Plunger Bars have a fitted piston rod for maximum safety and dependability as well as a unique piston action for easy removal of the rod. The Plunger Bar is ideal for a number of applications including, test holes, sub-soil determination, tree feeding, and temporary grounding rods.
